If you're a dessert-for-breakfast lover like I am, than look no further than these Berry Cheesecake Overnight Oats! Creamy yet tangy, sweet, and packed with juicy berries, this recipe brings all the flavors of your favorite cheesecake into a perfectly wholesome breakfast. Best part about them, is they are great for meal-prepping! Wether you are trying to plan for busy mornings or just want to change up your breakfast routine, these overnight oats will be your next obsession!

My obsession with overnight oats has yet to resolve itself, and I'm constantly thinking about what flavors would go well together. I recently had a delicious slice of mixed berry cheesecake at a restaurant and immediately thought "now THIS would make a delicious overnight oats recipe"! And that's how these Mixed Berry Cheesecake Overnight Oats were born!
Creamy and tangy cream cheese mixed together with all your favorite overnight oat ingredients to make a delicious make-ahead breakfast- I couldn't ask for anything more! Using cream cheese, greek yogurt, rolled oats, maple syrup as sweetener, and some fresh berries, this recipe is easy to make and also super customizable. Don't love blueberries? No worries- don't add them! If you do though, may I suggest my Blueberry Cheesecake Overnight Oats- They're the bomb.
You can keep it simple or go all out with fun toppings like crushed graham crackers, toasted nuts, a drizzle of nut butter, or even a few white chocolate chips if you're feeling fancy. If berries aren't your vice, my other favorites are these Chocolate Banana Overnight Oats, or my Cookies and Cream Overnight Oats.
ingredients you will need

- old fashioned oats- also called rolled oats, are my go-to for any and all overnight oat recipes. They give you the best texture after they soak up the liquid overnight in the fridge!
- chia seeds
- milk- any milk works for this recipe. I love using a milk with a higher protein content like fairlife!
- cream cheese- adding this to give us that creamy and tangy taste of cheesecake!
- greek yogurt- mixed with the cream cheese, we get great texture plus some added protein.
- maple syrup- using this as our sweetener, which you can swap for another sweetener that you love like honey or brown sugar.
- mixed berries- Any berries you love will work here! I did a mix of raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries. You can also use frozen if you prefer!
Best cream cheese to use
Cream cheese adds that rich, slightly tangy taste we all love in a classic cheesecake, and when blended with greek yogurt and a touch of sweetness (in this case, maple syrup and berries), it creates an ultra-creamy texture that feels decadent without being too heavy, especially first thing in the morning.
Just a couple of tablespoons is enough to transform your basic oat recipe into something that feels like a dessert-but it's still balanced enough for breakfast. It's all about capturing that authentic cheesecake vibe in a way that's easy yet totally satisfying.
I am partial to Philadelphia brand cream cheese, and no, not just because I live in Philadelphia- but because of the creaminess and flavor it adds to the oats! I always use the block type of cream cheese (I'm not a huge whipped fan).
How to make

Making these overnight oats could not be easier, like all my overnight oat recipes are!
- Start by mixing the oats and chia seeds together in a jar, bowl, or container.
- Add all the wet ingredients, including the cream cheese, and mix well until fully incorporated. If I'm using a jar with a lid, I like to shake vigorously to make sure it's really mixed well.
- Add in any berries you love (if you're eating the next morning) and refrigerate.
If you are meal prepping a few of these, I always recommend adding the fruit the morning of consuming so they don't get mushy!
Favorite toppings to add
- crushed graham cracker- for that super cheesecake feeling! Adding a little bit of graham cracker would be an amazing flavor and texture added to these oats, giving you that classic cheesecake combo.
- berry jam or compote- add some more berry deliciousness by adding a swirl of berry jam to your oats.
- granola, nuts, or toasted coconut- for more crunch and flavor!
- nutmeg or cinnamon- for some warmth and spice added to your oats.
- white chocolate chips- I feel like these would make a delicious combo with the cheesecake flavors. Or dark chocolate!

Storing and Meal Prepping
Overnight oats will stay good in an airtight container in the fridge for 4-5 days, so they are perfect for planning ahead and prepping! Like I said above, I would add the fruit the morning of if it's sitting in your fridge for more than overnight. This helps keep your berries nice and fresh!
You can eat overnight oats cold or warmed up in the microwave. Add the fruit after warming.
For meal prepping: Make a big batch at the start of the week and portion it out into single servings for easy access. You can customize each jar with different mix-ins or toppings to keep things interesting all week long.
If the oats thicken too much after a day or two, just stir in a splash of milk before eating to loosen them up.
