Ever dreamt of eating key lime pie for breakfast?! Well me too- look no further than these key lime pie overnight oats! They are bursting with those classic pie flavors thanks to tart key lime juice, some key lime zest, and buttery crushed graham crackers. You only need 8 ingredients to make these overnight oats, and no special equipment. You can make a big batch of these at the beginning of the week so you’ve got easy meal-prepped breakfasts for the week. One of my favorite grab-and-go breakfasts will now be one of your favorites as well.

You guys know that I can’t get enough of overnight oats as a certified breakfast lover and recipe developer. I also love me a good pie, specifically key lime pie. In the summer, it’s all I can think about!
These key lime pie overnight oats are just like your favorite nostalgic pie, but in overnight oats form! You get the key lime flavor thanks to key lime zest AND juice, plus I’ve added some crushed graham crackers for extra crunch- it reminds me of pie crust! I’ve prepped these many times in a single batch, but also tested them in a large batch to meal prep with. Both always turn out perfectly.
This recipe is all the things you love about key lime pie, but in a filling and hearty breakfast. Greek yogurt overnight oats are always a great way to start the day!

Key (Lime) Ingredients
- Old Fashioned Oats: I recommend using old fashioned oats or rolled oats. They’ll give you the best texture that isn’t too mushy or too firm. I don’t recommend using quick oats because those will get mushy overnight, and steel-cut oats are too hard. I love these protein oats for added protein!
- Greek Yogurt: this will make your overnight oats creamy and help keep you fuller for longer. I found key lime yogurt at my local grocery store and it was so good in this recipe! Feel free to use lime yogurt, or plain if you can’t find flavored.
- Honey- I prefer the taste of honey with lime, but I also tested these with maple syrup and it works as well!

Easier To Make Than a Pie
Making these key lime oats is easy & quick, which is typically my requirements for a breakfast recipe!
- start by mixing together the oats and chia seeds
- add in all your wet ingredients- milk, yogurt, key lime juice, honey. Mix until well combined (I usually make it in a jar with a lid so I can give it a good shake)
- Place in the fridge overnight!
Easy as that! I top mine with fresh zest, some crushed graham crackers, and whipped cream if I’m feeling wild (which I typically am).
Can’t Find Key Limes?
I typically like to buy premade key lime juice anyway, so no worries if you can’t find actual key limes! Saves you time anyway so you don’t have to juice any limes. Regular limes can be used if you can’t find key limes.

Key Lime Pie Overnight Oats with Key Lime Yogurt

- ½ tbsp (0.5 tbsp) chia seeds
- ½ cup (118.29 ml) milk
- ¼ cup (59.15 ml) key lime greek yogurt
- ½ tbsp (0.5 tbsp) honey
- ½ tbsp (0.5 tbsp) Key lime juice
- Crushed graham cracker crumbs, for topping
Instructions
- In a jar or bowl, mix together the oats and chia seeds.½ cup old fashioned oats, ½ tbsp chia seeds
- Stir in the milk, greek yogurt, honey, and lime juice until well combined.½ cup milk, ¼ cup key lime greek yogurt, ½ tbsp honey, ½ tbsp Key lime juice
- Cover with a lid and place in the fridge for at least 5 hours, preferably overnight for the best texture.
- In the morning, give it a good mix before eating. Top with crushed graham crackers, extra lime zest, and whipped cream if desired.Crushed graham cracker crumbs
Notes
- If your oats are too dry after sitting in the fridge overnight, add a splash of milk and mix
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Don’t top them with whipped cream or graham cracker crumbs until you’re ready to serve- graham crackers will get soggy as they sit on the oats!
- If you want to meal prep these, just multiply the recipe by how many servings you want to make. I prefer making them in individual jars for easy access, but you could make one big batch in a larger bowl if you want and scoop as you go.
