In the heat of the (humid) east coast summer, all I want for breakfast and lunch is a smoothie. Enter in this Mango Strawberry Banana Smoothie- I love to test out and try new combinations, so when I came across a bag of frozen mango the other week I thought they would make an amazing smoothie!
Made with just a few simple ingredients, this smoothie is perfect for really any meal of the day. I love to add a scoop of vanilla protein powder to my smoothie but you definitely don't have to.
I have been making smoothies for probably 10+ years so I have made my fair share, and this one is up there for super refreshing and delicious!

Why You'll Love This Smoothie
- It's easy to make for a quick & simple breakfast.
- Frozen fruits are easy to store and stay good for awhile in the freezer! Plus they're picked at peak freshness so you never have to worry about your mangos being under ripe.
- It's perfect to take on the go, I love to make smoothies and bring them on the road with me where ever I'm going!
Ingredients
- frozen mango
- frozen strawberries
- banana- you can use a frozen or fresh banana. If you use frozen, you might need to add more milk to the recipe
- milk - I used fairlife skim milk for extra protein!
- yogurt- I like to use nonfat plain or vanilla yogurt- but flavored would be great too like strawberry or banana!
A full ingredient list with exact amounts can be found in the recipe card below.
Make this Smoothie
Add the ingredients to a high powered blender and blend until smooth. If your smoothie is too thick, add more milk.
Other things to add
- If you want to add a sweetener to your smoothie, honey or maple syrup would be great additions.
- Chia seeds are a great addition to smoothies.
- Protein powder would be great in this smoothie, I always use vanilla protein.
- If you want to add a veggie without compromising taste, you could add riced cauliflower or spinach! I'd add about ¼ cup.
- You could add a nut butter like almond or peanut butter for flavor.
- Instead of using milk you could use your favorite fruit juice.
Equipment Needed
All you need is a good quality blender. I have this blender, which I love!
I love drinking my smoothies out of these weck jars- something about a cute glass just makes any drink better.
How To Store
If you aren't enjoying your smoothie right away, store in an airtight container in the fridge for a day or two. I would mix before consuming.
