Why You'll Love This Recipe
- You only need 6 simple ingredients to make this breakfast smoothie!
- It’s ready in under 5 minutes, so it’s perfect to whip up during the week for a quick breakfast.
- Protein powder is going to help give it an extra boost, keeping you fuller for longer.

How to Make
Place all of the smoothie ingredients in your blender.
Start blending on low speed, then increase to high speed for 45-60 seconds, or until smooth.
If your smoothie is too thick, add more almond milk. If it’s too thin, feel free to add some ice cubes and blend again!
Smoothie Tips
- I recommend using frozen bananas instead of fresh! It’s going to give you a much creamier smoothie. I always freeze bananas if they are overripe and about to go bad, that way I don't waste any and I always have them on hand for smoothies.
- If your smoothie is too thick you can add some more milk.
- If you want to add an extra serving of veggies, you can add up to a ¼ cup of frozen cauliflower rice! It doesn’t have any taste, I promise!
- You can add smoothie extras like chia seeds, flax seeds or extra fruit.
Equipment
The only equipment you’ll need to make this green smoothie is a blender. I recommend using a high-quality blender, it makes all the difference!
How To Store
If not enjoying right away, store the green smoothie in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Give it a stir or blend before drinking.
To freeze, place in an airtight container for up to 2 months and let thaw before enjoying.
