4 Ingredient Cinnamon Honey Butter

This homemade version of everyone’s favorite butter (yes, I’m talking about Texas Roadhouse butter!) is incredibly easy to make, comes together in just 3 minutes, and uses 4 simple ingredients. It’s sweet, creamy, and the perfect addition to pancakes, waffles, muffins, toast, biscuits, and more.

If you’ve ever dined at Texas Roadhouse, then you’ve had their delicious cinnamon honey butter, which are served with rolls. While I love going out to eat, I decided that I wanted to make a version that could be whipped up at home and used on all my favorite breakfast and brunch recipes.
This homemade cinnamon honey butter is so easy to make, takes only about 3 minutes, and uses 4-5 simple ingredients. To make this flavored butter, all you need is a bowl, a mixer, and a dream of buttery cinnamon treats in your near future.
This butter on my sweet & savory cornbread pancakes is just begging to be made this weekend for brunch!

Simple Ingredients
You don’t need anything fancy to make cinnamon honey butter, really just the things in the name- so cinnamon, honey, and butter! I used unsalted butter for this recipe as that is usually what I have on hand, but salted butter works perfectly. My biggest tip for making any flavored butter is to make sure the butter is at room temperature before mixing it with the other ingredients. This will make mixing it much easier than using cold butter!

Homemade Flavored Butter
Making homemade flavored butter is easier than you think!
- start by adding all the ingredients to a bowl.
- using an electric mixer or hand mixer, beat the butter until smooth and all ingredients are mixed together.
- scoop butter into a container to use on your favorite breakfast and brunch dishes.
That’s it! It seems almost too simple to be true, but it really is that easy to make. It took me about 3 minutes to whip up a batch of this butter before I had friends over for brunch the other weekend, and they were so glad I did.

Just Add Butter
I am a firm believer that adding butter to just about anything makes it better. This cinnamon honey butter is no exception! There are so many breakfast dishes that would be delicious with this butter spread on top. Here are a few of those-
- pancakes- cornbread pancakes or buttermilk pancakes would be amazing with this flavored butter
- bread- I love slathering it on some homemade sourdough, a slice of cinnamon raisin toast, or a square of cornbread.
- waffles
- muffins- pro tip on muffins: cut them in half, toast them in a pan on the oven, and add this butter to each half.
- french toast- like my favorite brioche french toast.
- bagels
- biscuits/rolls and scones
