Creamy Cinnamon Roll Overnight Oats with Yogurt "Icing"

Cinnamon roll lovers must try these cinnamon roll overnight oats! Made with just 8 simple ingredients, they take just a few minutes of prep.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup old fashioned oats
  • ½ tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup greek yogurt
  • Extra cinnamon/sugar for topping

Icing

  • 2 tbsp greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

  • In a jar or bowl, mix together the oats, chia seeds, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
    ½ cup old fashioned oats, ½ tbsp chia seeds, 1 tbsp brown sugar, ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Stir in your milk of choice and greek yogurt until well combined.
    ½ cup milk, ¼ cup greek yogurt
  • Cover with a lid and place in the fridge for at least 5 hours, preferably overnight for the best texture.
  • In the morning, give it a good mix before eating. Mix greek yogurt and powdered sugar together. Drizzle icing on top of oats and sprinkle with cinnamon or cinnamon sugar.
    2 tbsp greek yogurt, 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Overnight oats can be eaten cold straight from the fridge, or warmed up in the microwave. 
  • Make a big batch and store them either in a large tupperware or in a bunch of mason jars for meal prep.
  • If your overnight oats seem a bit dry in the morning, feel free to add a splash of milk.
