Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper or grease with non-stick spray and set aside.
In a food processor or blender, blend the freeze-dried strawberries until a powder forms. Set aside.
In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the marshmallows (saving 1 cup for later) and stir until completely melted.
Remove from heat and add the strawberry powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until well combined.
Stir in the cereal and the extra 1 cup of marshmallows. Spread the mixture into the prepared pan and press gently with spatula to flatten into an even layer.
Cool in pan for about 30 minutes before cutting into bars and serving.
Notes
You can use a 9x9 pan instead of a 9x13 pan if you want extra thick rice krispie treats!
Feel free to swap out freeze-dried strawberries for blueberries or raspberries.
Drizzle the strawberry treats with white chocolate and sprinkle over some fun sprinkles.
Let the strawberry rice krispie treats cool completely before slicing into bars.
