Ingredients

  • ½ cup old fashioned oats
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup greek yogurt
  • ½ tbsp chia seeds
  • 1-2 tsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1-2 tbsp nutella spread plus extra for topping

Instructions

  • Combine the oats, milk, yogurt, chia seeds, and maple syrup in a bowl or jar.
½ cup old fashioned oats, ½ cup milk, ¼ cup greek yogurt, ½ tbsp chia seeds, 1-2 tsp maple syrup
  • In a microwave-safe dish, microwave the nutella spread for 10-20 seconds, or until it turns into a runny consistency.
    1-2 tbsp nutella spread
  • Pour this into the oats and stir immediately, making sure the nutella spread is well combined and evenly dispersed. If you don't want to microwave the nutella, you could just add it to the oats, add the lid and shake vigorously until it's fully combined.
  • Cover with a lid and place in the fridge for at least 5 hours, preferably overnight.
  • In the morning, give it a good mix before digging in, and you can top it with more nutella spread & fresh berries!

Notes

  • If you don’t want to melt the nutella, just add it to the jar with the oats mixture, place the lid on and shake the jar vigorously.
  • Feel free to add protein powder to the overnight oats, I recommend using a chocolate protein powder!
  • Add between 1-2 tablespoons (or more) of nutella, depending on how indulgent you want it!
  • Add fresh strawberries or bananas in the morning when you are ready to eat!
