Ingredients

  • ½ cup old fashioned oats
  • ½ tbsp chia seeds
  • ½ tbsp cocoa powder
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup mashed banana
  • ½ tbsp maple syrup optional
  • 1 tbsp mini chocolate chips plus more for topping

Instructions

  • In a jar or bowl, mix together the oats, chia seeds, and cocoa powder.
    ½ cup old fashioned oats, ½ tbsp chia seeds, ½ tbsp cocoa powder
  • Stir in the milk, mashed banana, and maple syrup until well combined. Mix in the chocolate chips.

  • Cover with a lid and place in the fridge for at least 5 hours, preferably overnight for the best texture.
  • In the morning, give it a good mix before enjoying. Top with fresh banana slices and more chocolate chips.

Notes

  • add toppings before eating so they are fresh 
  • store in an airtight container for 5-6 days. If oats are dry before eating, add a splash of milk.
