6 tbsp butter melted and slightly cooled 1 cup all-purpose flour spooned and leveled ½ cup old fashioned oats ⅓ cup light brown sugar packed ⅓ cup granulated sugar ¾ tsp cinnamon
Melt the butter in the microwave or on the stovetop. Once completley melted, set aside to cool.

In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, brown sugar, sugar, and cinnamon until combined.
1 cup all-purpose flour, ½ cup old fashioned oats, ⅓ cup light brown sugar, ⅓ cup granulated sugar, ¾ tsp cinnamon
Pour in the melted butter, and mix until it comes together into a sandy mixture that is slightly moist. Some big chunks are fine to leave.
6 tbsp butter
Use immediately on your favorite recipe, or store for later.
oat streusel can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
If freezing, remove from the freezer and place in the fridge to defrost.
When using on baked goods, you can put the streusel on top while still cold from the fridge.
