Christmas Thumbprint Cookies

ingredients needed to make these cookies:

start by creaming the butter & sugars, then add in the egg yolk and vanilla

add the flour and mix until combined.

scoop the cookies into balls and press thumbprints into each one.

make the icing by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.

pipe or spoon icing into each cooled cookie. top with sprinkles.

allow icing to set before serving.
