BLT Bagel

This BLT Bagel is the perfect breakfast! Crispy bacon, juicy tomatoes, and crisp lettuce on a toasted bagel smeared with cream cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2-4 slices bacon
  • 1 bagel sliced & toasted
  • 2 tablespoon cream cheese
  • 1-2 slices tomato
  • lettuce

Instructions

  • Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add the strips of bacon and cook until fully cooked through, flipping halfway. Place the cooked bacon on a paper towel-lined plate and set aside.
  • Toast the bagel (if desired), and spread the cream cheese evenly over the bottom half.
  • Assemble the BLT by placing the bacon, lettuce, and tomato on the bottom half of the bagel. Finish by topping it with the top half of the bagel.

Notes

  • You can have your bagel toasted or untoasted, it’s totally up to you what you prefer!
  • If you’re making these BLT bagels for a crowd, it’ll be easier to cook the bacon in the oven than in a frying pan. Preheat your oven to 400°Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with foil. Lay the bacon strips on top and cook for 15-20 minutes. Remove them to a paper towel-lined plate. 
  • Add more toppings like avocado, a fried egg, or some hot sauce! 
  • Serve this BLT bagel with fresh fruit or veggies on the side.
