Russian Tea Cakes

Ingredients needed to make these Christmas cookies:

use an electric mixer to cream the butter and sugar until smooth. Mix in the vanilla.

Add the flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms. Mix in the nuts.

Scoop the dough onto the parchment paper. Use your hands to round the dough into balls. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

Allow to cool on the pan for 5 minutes. Roll the cookies in powdered sugar, and transfer to a wire cooling rack. Roll again 30 minutes later.

these cookies are buttery, nutty, and just the perfect amount of sweet!
